Poll: Konjiki no Moji Tsukai?

Well, I’m going to have a poll for you all so that I can figure out what the general consensus for this is. As most of you know, we’re currently behind on the Konjiki no Moji Tsukai chapters, and as exams grow nearer, some of our staff are going on small breaks.

UPDATE: Well, I’ve closed the poll now after being able to see what the fans want. However, I’m still probably going to go with sfx redraws.

One of the staff who went on a break is Yabaibunni, the redrawer for Konjiki no Moji Tsukai. I asked him for his opinion, and he said that it would be fine for me to either have someone else fill in for him or wait until he’s done with exams, which would be around the end of May. (A month from now.) Usually, I’d go straight on ahead, but there are two choices that are available for me to take right now, so I wanted to know what the majority of my fans want me to do. Note, this poll won’t be the entirety of what makes my decision, so even if one of the options wins, I won’t necessary choose that option. The options are to either abandon redrawing the sfx for chapters 6 and 7, making the releases much sooner, or wait until Yabaibunni comes back and have the sfx redrawn, which would be end of May, or early June. By then, we’d have another chapter to do to catch up.

Should I delay Konjiki no Moji Tsukai for the redraws?

  • No, just leave most of the sfx in and make footer notes of them. (85%, 47 Votes)
  • Yes, redraw all the sfx! (15%, 8 Votes)

  1. It certainly does look a lot more high quality and it is your work, so you’ve got to make that decision for yourself but appart from the magic spells used i dont think untranslated sfx take away from the enjoyment or imersion while reading.
    Keep up the good work!

  2. I’m in the camp, I’d rather have sfx notes on the margins. Redrawing takes too much time and effort that could have otherwise been spend doing something more worthwhile.
